Nollywood actor Funsho Adeolu has blasted veteran actor Jide Kosoko, as well as other stakeholders of the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, for threatening to frustrate Nollywood actors Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing.
Remember that the decision came after their colleague, Baba Ijesha, was accused of defiling Princess, the foster daughter of Nigerian comedian Princess.
Some TAMPAN members, including Yomi Fabiyi and Lege Maimi, kicked against Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo for openly condemning Baba Ijesha.
During a press conference over the weekend, renowned actor Jide Kosoko stated that the association disapproved of the insulting statements made by Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing against the association and the industry as a whole.
It also prohibited the association's directors from working with the two Nollywood actors.
In response, Funsho Adeolu claimed in an Instagram post that he is ashamed of the association's leadership, adding that they do not have the best interests of their members at heart.
" My face is covered, not because of covid but in shame on behalf of those who call themselves leaders of local association and do not have the interest of members at heart. God is watching o" he wrote.
