Police in Abuja are said to have fired tear gas canisters this morning to disperse June 12 demonstrators in the Gudu neighborhood of the Federal Capital Territory.
At 8.30 a.m. this morning, protestors gathered in the region to express their unhappiness with the Buhari-led government's "bad governance."
According to Punch, as security officers raided the location and fired teargas canisters, the protestors took to their heels and fled for safety, yelling "Buhari must go," "Say no to injustice," and other solidarity expressions.
