Paris Olympics 2024: Tobi Amusan Misses Out on 100m Hurdles Final

Nigeria’s chances of securing a medal at the 2024 Olympics took a major hit on Friday when Tobi Amusan failed to qualify for the 100m hurdles final. Amusan, who was a strong contender for the gold, finished third in her semi-final with a time of 12.55 seconds. Unfortunately, this was not enough for automatic qualification, and she also missed out on advancing as one of the best losers.

The 27-year-old athlete from Ogun State ended up 9th overall in the final standings. Amusan had previously reached the final in the Tokyo Olympics three years ago but is still in search of her first Olympic medal.
