"Last year, my twins gained their wings at 14 weeks, but God blessed me with another son." Ooni of Ife and his fourth wife, Olori Ashley, welcome their first child.

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has once again become a father, as his fourth wife, Olori Ashley, gave birth to a baby boy. The monarch, who has already celebrated the arrival of twins earlier this year with his third wife, shared the joyous news on his official Instagram page, expressing profound gratitude to God for the blessing.

In his post, the Ooni praised the Almighty for the safe arrival of their prince, stating that both mother and child are doing well. He highlighted the significance of the newborn, who comes from royal bloodlines on both his parents' sides, making him a "Crown Prince" of the Ile Ife kingdom.

Olori Ashley, in her own heartfelt message, reflected on the trials they faced over the past decade. She revealed that their relationship had been tested by adversities, including the devastating loss of their twins last year at 14 weeks. Despite these challenges, she expressed deep gratitude to God, who she said had promised her a son to carry on her ancestors' legacy.

She wrote: "To God be the glory, great things He has done for my husband and me. I am happy to re-announce with my husband the birth of our adorable prestigious royal son, our CROWN PRINCE of the source of Oodua. Even though the enemies tried in our relationship for about a decade, Olodumare has remained faithful. Last year was a little dark as our set of twins gained their wings at 14 weeks, but Olodumare remained faithful. He said what you need is a son to carry your forbears' lineage, a double CROWN PRINCE, and now He has blessed us with our gorgeous son."

She continued, emphasizing the prince's royal heritage: "Our son is not just a prince of the source, but our CROWN PRINCE from both sides of his parents. A prince of the Giesi ruling house and a prince from the Lafogido ruling house, two of the four ruling houses in Ile Ife that attain the throne of our forebears. History has repeated itself again, not only on me but on our beloved son and CROWN PRINCE of the source of Oodua. Modupe Olodumare, mo ma roju ire re laye mi."

The Ooni and Olori Ashley's announcement has been met with widespread congratulations, marking a joyous chapter in their royal journey.
