A touching video has emerged online, capturing the moment Roqeebah, the daughter of Fuji icon Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, visited fellow Fuji legend Saheed Osupa to personally invite him to her father’s 40th-year-on-stage celebration.
Pasuma is set to mark this milestone on December 18, 2024, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Ikeja, Lagos. The grand celebration follows a European tour earlier this year, during which the Fuji maestro thrilled fans in countries like Italy, Germany, France, Sweden, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Pasuma also delivered electrifying performances in London and Manchester as part of the anniversary festivities.
In the video, Odetola Roqeebah Omobolaji, Pasuma’s third child, presented the invitation to Saheed Osupa, who received it with warmth and enthusiasm. The Fuji star assured her of his attendance and posed for photos with the invitation, signaling his support for the landmark event.
