Nollywood star Funke Akindele has expressed her full support for her colleague, Femi Adebayo, as he prepares to release his highly anticipated film, Seven Doors. Known for her remarkable success at the box office, Funke rarely promotes her peers' projects, making her endorsement of Seven Doors especially significant.

On Monday, Funke shared the trailer for the film on her Instagram, excitedly encouraging her fans to mark their calendars for its upcoming release. In her post, she wrote:

Femi Adebayo, in a previous interview, described Seven Doors as even more ambitious than his previous hit, Jagun Jagun. He explained that the film spans two different time periods— the 18th and 19th centuries— blending historical and modern elements, and featuring a mix of Nigerian cultures. The story revolves around a Yoruba king married to an Igbo woman, with a Hausa businessman involved, offering a rich portrayal of Nigerian heritage.

The star-studded cast of Seven Doors includes Femi Adebayo, Chioma Akpotha, Wumi Toriola, Yinka Quadri, Oshodi Oke, Dayo Amusa, Adebayo Salami, and Gabriel Afolayan.

The trailer for Seven Doors was first shared on Netflix's official Instagram page on November 15, with the streaming giant encouraging viewers to tune in when the series drops on December 13. Fans are already buzzing about the film, eager to see the much-anticipated project unfold.
