Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has pledged support for parents struggling to pay their children’s school fees as the 2025/2026 academic session begins.


In a post shared on his official X handle on Wednesday, the music star acknowledged the financial pressure many families face at the start of every school term.


“I know it’s school fee season, it’s not always easy. I know this first-hand. So, let me help lessen that burden a little bit,” Dakolo wrote.


He urged parents and guardians to send their children’s school bills via Instagram to @TheOyindaOlu, assuring them that receipts of payments made directly to schools would be shared to confirm the assistance.


“Just DM the school bill to @TheOyindaOlu on IG. We would DM you the receipt of what we sent to the school,” he added.


Dakolo’s gesture has been widely praised online, with many describing it as a timely act of kindness during tough economic times.
