Popular social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, has been arraigned again by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of fraud and theft involving millions of naira.
The mother of two, widely known as Blessing CEO, appeared before Justice R.A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. She is facing a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and allegedly stealing a total of N69.15 million.
During the court proceedings, the prosecution counsel, C. C. Okezie, asked the court to proceed with the arraignment, stating that the defendant had been properly served with the charges. However, defence counsel, Nkama Nneka, informed the court that the charges had only recently been served on her client.
After considering both arguments, Justice Oshodi ruled that the arraignment should proceed in line with legal procedures. The charges were then read to Blessing CEO, who responded before the court.
The latest development comes while she is already facing another fraud-related case filed by the EFCC. In the separate case, she is accused of obtaining N36 million from a petitioner under the alleged false claim of securing a property lease in Lekki, Lagos.
The influencer was first arraigned in that matter on May 15, 2026. Following hearings on her bail application, the court had reserved its ruling until June 9.
At the resumed hearing, the court granted Blessing CEO bail in the sum of N10 million.
The legal battles continue to mount for the social media personality as she faces multiple allegations involving the alleged fraudulent collection and diversion of millions of naira. The cases are expected to continue in court as both the prosecution and defence prepare to present their arguments.
