The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, is reportedly preparing to marry Titilayo Ashabi, who would become his seventh wife. This development adds to the monarch's history of high-profile relationships and marriages that have attracted public attention.

The Ooni’s relationship timeline dates back to May 1994, when he welcomed his first child, Adeola Aanuolouwapo Ogunwusi, with Omolara Olatubosun while they were both teenagers in Ibadan. Although they never married, they co-parented Adeola, but Omolara later revealed in a 2021 interview that the monarch was largely absent during their daughter’s early years.

In 2008, the Ooni married Adebukola Bombata, a union that lasted until 2016. He then tied the knot with Zaynab Otiti Obanor in March 2016. However, that marriage ended in August 2017 after Zaynab filed for divorce.

In October 2018, the monarch married Prophetess Morenike Naomi Oluwaseyi. Their marriage faced turbulence, culminating in Naomi announcing their separation via Instagram in December 2021. The palace disputed the separation claims, but Naomi continues to maintain an active public profile.

Between September and October 2022, the Ooni took six wives in rapid succession:
